About this Course
This course offers not only the basics of blueprint reading, but also the fundamentals of construction methods that make blueprint reading meaningful.
It is designed for office personnel, foremen, superintendents, and anyone who desires a basic knowledge of construction drawings.
Participants will learn
The basic descriptions of pictorial drawings
Construction materials
Construction specs
How to use a scale
To read plot plans
Content also covers the basics of print reading for concrete footings, structural steel framing, welding, unit masonry construction, framing and finish, plumbing systems, air conditioning systems and electrical systems.
********Registrants need to bring a yellow highlighter and an architectural scale.

With nearly three decades in construction and fifteen years in higher education, he specializes in developing the systems and people that drive high-performance organizations.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org.
AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.
