About the Course
This course provides a practical introduction to performing MEP take-offs from construction plans, with a focus on identifying key plumbing, mechanical/HVAC, and electrical components.
Participants will learn:
- Plumbing Material Quantities
- Mechanical/HVAC Quantities
- Electrical
This course is designed to help participants strengthen their ability to read MEP plan details and develop more accurate material take-offs for project planning.
NOTE: This course is NOT a price estimating class, only for quantities used to prepare estimates by drilling into plans and specifications.
MODALITY: Hands-on class using plans (Printed or PDF) and provided excel spreadsheet. Computer with Excel is required for class.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation requests must be received in writing via email at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org. Substitutions are encouraged and can also be requested via email to Cindy Parham. Confirmation to registered participants will be provided prior to the event via email one week prior to the course.
