About the Course
The Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) Standard for Construction provides a fundamental understanding of proper safety standards and safety principles for the construction industry. Standards from OSHA will provide an understanding of hazardous situations and how to prevent and navigate them. This course is a prerequisite to OTI 0500P - OSHA 500: Trainer Course for Occupational Safety and Health for Construction Industry.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for beginning safety and health professional as well as human resources personnel, supervisors involved with health and safety construction industry related topics, and people who serve on a safety committee.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 14 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 14 business days before training cannot be refunded. The request must be sent in writing via email to parham@agcga.org

Meet Your Instructor
Philip Greisen | PROSAFE Solutions, Inc.
Philip is a vice president and senior consultant for PROSAFE Solutions, Inc. and a seasoned safety professional with excellent presentation skills. He is a Certified Industrial Trainer (CIT) and Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Philip is also a certified John Maxwell Leadership Trainer and Coach.
Philip serves as course director and adjunct faculty for several OSHA Training Institute courses at Georgia Tech including the OSHA 510, OSHA 500 (trainer course), OSHA 3015 Excavation and Soil Mechanics course, and the OSHA 502 update course. He also developed and instructs the EST 7139 Foundations of Safety Leadership course.
He has been employed with PROSAFE Solutions since July of 2000. In addition to providing safety training and consulting services for clients he has been integral in the development and facilitation of the PROSAFE safety culture assessment process.
