The Associated General Contractors of America's Supervisory Training Program (STP) is a construction-specific training curriculum developed, updated and field-tested by and for contractors. Supervisory skill - or the lack of it - directly affects every company's bottom line. Your firms makes its money in the field, and STP can help you improve your organization's bottom line.
STP Unit 1: Focuses on the knowledge and skills every supervisor must have to be an effective manager of people, time, equipment and materials.
This session explains the tangible and intangible benefits of effective supervision and motivation of members on a team. Participants engage in open conversations on the following topics:

- Motivating and leading others
- Positive feedback
- Training and orienting crew members
- Teams and team building
- Leadership skills in action

AGC Georgia reserves the right to cancel programs up to 7 days prior to the start date if a minimum number of attendees is not met.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation requests must be received in writing at least 7 business days before the training. In those circumstances, registration fees will be refunded, minus a 10% processing fee. Cancellation requests received less than 7 business days before training cannot be refunded. Substitutions are encouraged.

Meet Your Instructor
Daphene Koch | Owner | Build Your Know, LLC
Daphene has over 15 years of construction industry experience on commercial and industrial projects. Her roles have included project manager, safety manager, construction services leader and pipefitters helper. While a professor at Purdue University in the School of Construction Management, she partnered with contractors to develop training and workforce development programs. She has been an AGC of America trainer since 2000 and is well versed in the PMDP curriculum along with the Supervisory Training Program (STP), Construction Supervisory Fundamentals (CSF) and many other custom training programs for construction professionals.
