Gorgia’s construction industry and AGC Georgia have thrived thanks to the strength of visionary leaders. To ensure continued success, it’s essential that the next generation is well-prepared to face the challenges and seize the opportunities of a rapidly evolving industry.

That’s why AGC Georgia’s Young Leadership Program (YLP) is recognized by members and industry leaders as one of the most valuable offerings available to today’s construction firms. The program provides rising professionals with opportunities to grow their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of AGC Georgia, and build lasting relationships through networking with peers from across the industry.

Beyond professional development, YLP is a cornerstone of AGC Georgia’s commitment to community service. Program participants lead major fundraising efforts and volunteer their construction expertise to support a wide range of causes that benefit children, students, families, and veterans throughout the state.

Each year since YLP was founded in 1996, the program attracts the best and brightest young professionals from around the state. Currently, over 80 member firms and more than 150 individuals participate. The group is comprised of a cross section of all types of professionals including office and field personnel.

YLP plans, organizes and hosts a series of FREE professional development Roundtable Forums for its members, and other members of the association are welcome to attend.

Members receive discounts on training classes and reduced or complimentary fees to attend select programs and events, eg. Annual Convention, Fall Leadership Conference, and more.
